Anis Tucker Bittle, age 84 of Monticello passed away April 7, 2013 at the Woods Nursing and Rehab in Monticello. She was born May 31, 1928 in Ashley County, AR to the late Frank and Pearl Wilcoxin Tucker of the Promise Land Community in Hamburg.

She was a member of the Enon Baptist Church, retired from Wells Lamont Glove Factory after 30 years, and was a homemaker. She is preceded in death by her husband Finnis F. Bittle of 42 years of marriage, four brothers, one sister and a great-granddaughter.

Survivors include three sons, Frank Ervin Bittle and wife, Carolyn, Trezy Bittle and Finis Bittle and wife, Patsy all of Monticello; two daughters, Vanelane DeFir Harrison and husband, Ben of Monticello, and Elaine Oglethorpe and husband, Clarence of El Dorado; two brothers, James D. Tucker and Clifton L. Tucker and wife, Judy of Crossett; a niece, Peggy Jackson of Wichita, KS who was like a sister. She also had ten grandchildren, thirty-one great grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter and several nieces and nephews.

Finnis Bittle married Jovie Steadman on December 19, 1936 in Chicot Co
