Peggy June Wilson, age 75, of Pine Bluff, died Saturday, April 30, 2011. Peggy was born June 18, 1935 in Pine Bluff.
Peggy was a 1953 graduate of Pine Bluff High School, and upon graduation went to work for the Coca-Cola Bottling Company. In 1959, she went to work for Arkansas Power and Light Company, and retired after 30 years of service. After her retirement, she continued to work as a receptionist at the Entergy System Operations Center in Pine Bluff.
An active member of Central Presbyterian Church, Peggy was dedicated to her church and her church family. She loved to work in her garden and share vegetables with her friends and neighbors.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Corine and Edgar Cannon; several cousins, her neighbor families, co-workers, church family and many other good friends. Peggy will be greatly missed and in our hearts always.
Pallbearers were Toby Simmons, Bill Green, Tyler Akines, Rob Varnell, Frank Merritt Bill Mitchell, Woody West, Miller Lafitte, and Tom Roop.
