ALVIS (BUCK) CLOER
Alvis (Buck) Cloer, 72, Rt. 3, Bentonville, died Nov. 7 in Bates Memorial Hospital in Bentonville. Born Nov. 19, 1901, at Goshen, he was the son of James and Vercie Stone Cloer, a member of the Church of Christ and a retired farmer. He moved to Benton County in 1920.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Estell Campbell Cloer of the home; one son, Larry Cloer, Cave Springs; two daughters, Mrs. Lyle (Jerry) Williams, Memphis, Tenn., and Mrs. Paul (Polly) Brewer, Bentonville; one brother, A. A. (Sid) Cloer, Siloam Springs; one sister, Mrs Jewell Leib, Bentonville; and 11 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Sunday at 3 p.m. in Bentonville Church of Christ with Walter Buchanan, minister, and the Rev. Sam Teague officiating. Burial will be in Bentonville Cemetery under the direction of Burns Funeral Home of Bentonville.
