ANDERSON, Nannie Louise - The subject of this sketch was the seventh of nine children born to Mr. and Mrs. O.I. Anderson on the Hazel Glen farm in Benton County, Arkansas. She was born Dec. 24, 1870 and fell asleep in Jesus Dec. 24, 1902 at 1 o'clock a.m. Miss Nannie was a great sufferer, being an invalid all her life. In early childhood she gave her heart to the Lord Jesus and was a living example of his power to sustain amidst the trials of this life. For the last two years she had been confined to her bed and that sick room has been a blessing to the entire community. Miss Nannie was a devoted member of the Hazel Glen Presbyterian Church and although she seldom attended services the Church will greatly miss her influence and help. On Christmas morning a large number of friends gathered at the old home and after a short service bore the body to its last resting place in the family burying ground. J.L.G.
