Bentonville --- Charles I. Williamson, 79, of Bentonville, died Monday at his home. Born Nov. 6, 1893 in Chandler, Okla., he was a retired farmer and a member of the Church of Christ.

Survivors are the widow, Mrs. Evela Williamson of the home; three daughters, Mrs. Loretta Boydsten of California, Mrs. Charlene Landers of Bentonville and Mrs. Sandra Penquite of Tulsa; one son, Von C. of Smyrna, Tenn.; one sister, Mrs. Nellie McDonald of Porterville, Calif.; two brothers, Jeff of Houston, Tex. and Merle of Napa, Calif.; 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Callison-McKinney Funeral Chapel with burial in Rogers Cemetery.

BENTONVILLE -- Evela Williamsom, 85, of Bentonville died Aug. 28, 1997, at her home. She was born March 27, 1912, in Evangeline Parish, La., to Sidney Joseph and Eugenia Soileau Fontenot. She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ in Cave Springs. She moved to the area in 1947 from Houston, Texas, and lived in the Evening Star community before moving to Bentonville. She was preceded in death by her husband, C.I. Williamson; one daughter; six brothers; three sisters.

Survivors include one son, Vaughn Williamson of Nashville, Tenn.; two daughters, Charlene Landers of Bentonville and Sandra Calamari of Rowayton, Conn.; 11 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; one great-great-great-grandchild.

A candlelight memorial service will be at 6:30 p.m. Saturday at the Callison-Lough Funeral Home in Bentonville with Eddie Shores officiating. Private burial will be Monday in Rogers Cemetery.
