B, 12th Arkansas Cavalry, at Monticello, January 1, 1864; present, February 29, 1864; captured in Drew county, Arkansas, April 6, 1864; confined at U.S. Military Prison, Rock Island, Illinois; exchanged at Red River Landing, Louisiana, March 4, 1865; born in Tennessee, August 23, 1834; died in Arkansas, December 15, 1885; buried in Andrews Chapel Cemetery in Drew county; his widow filed Arkansas pension application #7394 from Drew county, August 10, 1914; listed in Drew county 1860 census; occupation farmer.
