Maggie Lee Reeves Wilson, 85
Maggie Lee Reeves Wilson, daughter of the late Herman Reeves and Molly Rhoades Fitzhugh, was born May 18, 1927 in Calico Rock, Arkansas. She departed this life July 10, 2012 in Calico Rock, Arkansas at the age of 85 years, 1 month and 22 days. In 1946, she was united in marriage to William J. Wilson and to this union seven sons were born. She spent her life as a daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, homemaker and friend. After her sons were in school, she went to work for Baxter Laboratory in Mountain Home; retiring after 20 years of employment. She was a member of the Calico Rock VFW Ladies Auxiliary. She was of the Methodist faith and a member of Calico Rock United Methodist Church.
She is survived by seven sons and seven daughters-in-law: Jerry and Corrine Wilson of Flippin, Charles and Janis Wilson of Fairfield Bay, Doug and Etta Wilson of Calico Rock, Jack and Randa Wilson of Gassville, Lyle and Lois Wilson of Calico Rock, Russell and Margaret Wilson of Little Rock and Tim and Sharon Wilson of Timbo; one sister: Patsy Sue Rinke of Lawrence, Kansas; 20 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; 8 great great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and many good friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; three brothers and three sisters.
Memorial service will be held Saturday, July 14 at 2:00 p.m. at Calico Rock United Methodist Church with Mike Smith officiating.
Honorary Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
Arrangements by Eddie's Family Funeral Home in Calico Rock.
