Mrs. Dean Pace (nee Edna Pollock) died Wednesday, December 19th at her home one-half mile east of the Pleasant Ridge school house east of Rogers, the result of flu which developed into pneumonia. Her death was the first in a family of nine children, she being a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Pollock of the Pleasant Ridge neighborhood. She was 31 years, four months and 22 days old and is survived by her husband and two small sons - Ernest Dean, aged nine and Roy Morris, aged seven. She was married to Dean Pace in June 1916. Funeral services were held Friday, December 21st and were conducted by Rev. Lee Edwards, pastor of the First Christian church of Rogers. Burial was at Pace's Chapel by the side of two children who had died while quite young.
