GABBERT, Florence - Little Florence Gabbert, 11 year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. G.M. Gabbert, died Friday morning of typhoid. She had been sick but a few short days and her death was a cruel blow to her parents. Little Florence was the light of the household and the pride of her kind father and mother. She was an extraordinarily bright and winning child for her age and the future seemed to hold for her nothing but pleasure and happiness, but alas! the rose has been ruthlessly plucked by the cruel hand of death; it has, however, been transplanted in Heaven never more to be disturbed. The News joins in sympathy for the sorrowing family. Funeral services were held from the family residence Friday afternoon and the remains were interred in Bluff Cemetery.
