William Frost

William M. (Bill) Frost, 70, of Springdale died March 4 at Springdale Memorial Hospital. He was born Aug. 28, 1918, in Seligman, Mo., the son of George M. and Pollie Skaggs Frost. He was a retired service manager for Skelton Motor Co., a member of Wesley United Methodist Church and served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He moved to Springdale in 1952 from Cassville, Mo.

Survivors include his wife, Mary P. Sullivan Frost of the home; one daughter, Mrs, Frank M. (Jana) Mayfield of St. Louis; one sister, Emma Lee Posey of Van Buren; one grandson, Thomas Mayfield of St. Louis and one granddaughter, Angelia Frost of Long Island, N.Y.

Memorial services will be at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Wesley United Methodist Church with the Rev. Gaylon Cope and the Rev. Britt Cordell officiating. Arrangements are by Sisco Chapel of Springdale.

Visitation will be from 2 to 3 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Private burial services will be Wednesday at Bluff Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the Youth Fund at Wesley United Methodist Church.

Mary Pearl Frost

Mary Pearl Frost, 90, longtime resident of Springdale, died March 16, 2007, at Fayetteville City Hospital. She was born Aug. 28, 1916, in Cassville, Mo., to Carl and Clara Brown Sullivan.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Frost, a son, Tommy Frost; three sisters, Elaine Loe, Ella Mae Maus and Ruby Sullivan, and a brother, Frank Sullivan.

She was a homemaker, a sales clerk at Dillard's and Ryan's department stores, a salesperson for World Book Encyclopedia and had worked for Barry County Bank in Cassville. She was a volunteer with the NW Hospital Auxiliary and Circle of Life Hospice. She was a past member of Oak Grove Club and a longtime member of Wesley Methodist Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Jana Mayfield and husband Mac Mayfield of Tontitown; daughter-in-law, Mary Frost of Maryland; three grandchildren, Angela Parochniak and husband Rob of New Jersey, Dana and Tommy Mayfield of Tontitown, and one greatgrandchild, Ave Mary Parochniak.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Sisco Chapel in Springdale. The Rev. Suzanne Stoner will officiate.

The family requests a written memory of Mary for the memory book. Memorials may be made to Circle of Life Hospice, 902 Jones Road, Springdale, 72762.
