Laura Jane was a retired public school teacher and resident of Bradley. She was born March 8, 1925. She was a 1947 graduate of Ouachita College, Arkadelphia, Arkansas and a 1962 graduate of the University of Mississippi. She taught in the Bradley Public Schools from 1947-1955, and at Kerr Elementary School, Bossier City, Louisana from 1955 to 1978. She was a member of Delta Kappa Gamma and a memeber of the Bradley Baptist Church.
