BENTON: Wayne Martin Wills, age 75, of Benton passed away Sunday, June 6, 1999. Mr. Wills was born May 22,1924, in Benton. He was retired from Saline Memorial Hospital as a maintenance director for 33 years, and was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Benton. Mr. Wills was preceded in death by his parents, Martin and Grace Wills.
Survivors include wife, Frances Wills of Benton; two sisters, Virginia (Toby) Carter of Benton, Norma Salley of Sherwood; two nieces, Karen Salley Laitner of Ashland, Ore., Merlyn Caywood of Colorado Springs. Funeral services Will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at the First United Methodist Church of Benton by Ashby Funeral Home. Burial will be at New Rosemont Cemetery. Family visitation will be 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. tonight at Ashby Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church Building Fund and to Saline Memorial Hospital Foundation.
