The headstone form William A. Jones (my ggfather's oldest brother) is actually a quote from the Scriptures. It says " And thay sung a new song saying thou art worthy to take the book and open the seal thereof for thou wast slain and hath redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred and tongue and people and nation.
and has made us unto our God kings and priests and we shall reign on the earth."
(Yes, it was actually spelled "thay"!)
