SPRINGDALE — David Bibb won his battle against brain cancer when he rode his four-wheeler from this life into the most glorious national forest GOD ever created. He entered the gates of Heaven on Friday, March 18, 2011, with his wife Jannie, daughter Jill, son-in-law Jeremy, Dad Hale, family friends Daniel and Debbie Dickard at his side.

David Hale Bibb was born March 10, 1948, in Batesville, Ark., the son of William Hale and Nina Andruss Bibb. David was raised in Melbourne, Ark., before he moved to Fayetteville to attend and graduate from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville.

He is preceded in death by his most beloved mother, Nina Mae Bibb, and his cherished son, Bo, who was killed on April 3, 2010.

David is survived by the love of his Life, best-friend and soul-mate wife, Jannie; his precious baby girl, Jill Jackson and her husband, Jeremy; the joys of his life — his grandsons, Ian Colby and Carter Dean Jackson; his faithful companions, Ollie and Tac; his father, William Hale Bibb and Hale's wife, Theo; his sister, Carol Ellis and husband, J.W.; nieces, Karla and husband, Will Davidson; great-niece, Emily Ann and great-nephew, Eli; niece, Kim Spellins, husband Randy; great-nieces Sarah, Bethany, Rebekah, Caroline, Eliza; and great-nephew Caleb; aunts, Maria Davis, Fran George and Loretta Ward; his mother and father-in-law, Jerry and DeMona Reeves; special family supporters and friends - Daniel Dickard, Dr. Craig and Toni Cooper and Dr. Karl Haws.

David's greatest passion in life was his love of GOD, Jannie, his family, church, his enjoyment of his cabin in St. Paul, riding four-wheelers with family and friends. His greatest joy in life, his children, Jill and Bo.

The purest pleasure in his life, his grandsons, Ian Colby and Carter Dean. He enjoyed nothing more than spending time with them. Swimming with Ian, laughing with Carter Dean, taking them to the St. Louis Cardinals baseball games.

He was most honored to be present in their spiritual growth, being able to see the recent baptism of Ian Colby and the childhood love of GOD in Carter Dean.

David is the owner of Jim's Radio and TV Electronic Service and Executone Communications in Springdale.

He was a member of Springdale Christian Church where he served weekly with the CUP Ministry.

Visitation will be at Backstrom-Pyette today, March 22, from 6 to 8 p.m.

Family will be present from during this time to receive guests.

Services will be held at the Springdale Christian Church on Wednesday, March 23, 2011, at 11 a.m. with Pastor Daniel Dickard officiating the service. Committal service to follow at Wilson Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the CUP Ministry, the Gideons or the National Cemetery Fayetteville, CVMA-AR 72.
