The Wiley Jones Family Cemetery is a private family cemetery on the east side of Arkansas Highway 9 about 1/2 mile north of the Melbourne City limits or about three miles north of the intersection of Arkansas Highway 9 and Arkansas Highway 69. Pilot Knob can be seen in the background from the cemetery.
It is a very old cemetery that had around seven graves that were marked with rocks. Fletcher Wiley Jones, through several years of legal proceedings, got the cemetery declared a "legal" cemetery for burials. On October 11, 2011, his wife was the first burial in the cemetery after it had been declared a legal cemetery for burials. As of June 18, 2012, the grave of Alice Carlene Godwin Jones was the only identified grave in the Wiley Jones Family Cemetery.
