Bernice Ables
SPRINGDALE-- Bernice Viola Ables, 89, of Springdale died June 9, 2004, at Springdale. She was born Jan. 31, 1915, in Zephyer, Texas, to Seth Columbia and Josie McGlouthin Williams. She was a retired cashier and a member of Calvary Baptist Church. She enjoyed sewing and flower gardening.
Survivors include her husband of 65 years, Clarence Ables of the home; two sons, Frank Ables and wife Bertha of Dayton, Texas, and Carl Eugene Ables and wife Phyllis of Little Rock; one daughter, Janice Ann Maider and husband Kenneth of San Antonio, Texas; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 9:30 a.m. Friday at National Cemetery in Fayetteville with the Rev. Rodney Weeks officiating.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. today at Memorial Funeral Home in Springdale.
