Mr. Jas. Simpson Passes Away

Mr. Jas. Simpson well known citizen of five miles east of this place, died at his home Thursday of last week, Nov 10th, burial taking place at the Palestine cemetery Friday. Mr. Simpson has been in bad health for the past several months. He was about 70 years of age.

Deceased was one of our most highly respected citizens, and the news of his death will be received with deep sorrow by all who knew him.

Mr. Simpson was a native of Missouri, moving to this county about twenty years ago. He has been engaged at farming nearly al his life.

Besides his widow, two sons and three daughters survive.
