Wreck Kills Local Man
LOWELL — A local man was fatally injured shortly after 7 p.m. Tuesday when his motorcycle went out of control and overturned on a curve in Old Wire Road north of here.
The victim was identified as Edward Clinton Ingram, 19. Authorities said he apparently was riding north when his vehicle hit a patch of loose gravel. He was found about 45 feet beyond the overturned motorcycle, one source said.
He was taken by Springdale Fire Department ambulance to Springdale Memorial Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Ingram was born Jan. 28, 1959, at Springdale, the son of Vernon E. and Duona (Tommy) Rogers Ingram. He was a member of the Baptist Church and a graduate of Rogers High School. He was employed by Tyson's processing plant in the shipping department.
Survivors include his parents of the home; two sisters, Mrs. Stanley (Doris) Spicer of Tulsa, Okla. and Mrs. Ken (Patricia) Matthews of Springdale.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Missionary Baptist Church, Gutensohn and McRay, Springdale. Burial will be in Forest Park Cemetery under the direction of Sisco Chapel.

Edward Ingram
Edward Clinton Ingram, 19, of Lowell, died Tuesday night in a motorcycle accident near Lowell. He was born Jan. 28, 1959, in Springdale.
He was a member of the Baptist Church and was a graduate of Rogers High School. He was employed by Tyson's processing plant in the shipping department.
Survivors are his parents, Vernon E. and Duona (Tommy) Rogers Ingram, of the home; and two sisters, Mrs. Doris Spicer of Tulsa and Mrs. Patricia Matthews of Springdale.
Services were held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Missionary Baptist Church in Springdale with burial in Forrest Park Cemetery under direction of Sisco Funeral Home of Springdale.
