Thelma Wilder
Thelma Jane Lee Wilder, 77, of Fayetteville, died Monday, March 15, at her home. She was born April 30, 1915, at Springdale, to Guy and Ida May Ladd. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church, Springdale.
Her husband, N.F. Wilder, died in 1983.
Survivors are three sons, Nathaniel F. Wilder Jr. of Fayetteville, Terry Wilder of Springdale, Ronald Wilder of Batesville; six daughters, Betty C. Jackson of Land of Lakes, Fla., Frances Graham of Muldrow, Okla., Christine Shields of Lake of the Ozarks, Mo., Shirley Burnett of Brook Park, Ohio, Patricia Geels of Springdale, Joy Lawrence of Springdale; a brother, David Lee Wilder of Fort Smith; a sister, Mary Haislip of Fort Smith; 32 grandchildren, 49 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral is set for 10 a.m. today at Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home, Springdale, with the Rev. Mel Bookout officiating. Burial will be at Forest Park Cemetery.
