HUNTSVILLE — Harold Daniel (Danny) Edens, 50, of Huntsville died Aug. 4, 1995, at his home. He was born July 1, 1945, in Japton to Claud and Leola May Bayley Edens. He was a building contractor and a member of Huntsville Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by one brother, James Douglas Edens, on Oct. 23, 1982; his adoptive parents, Fred and Anna Berry and his mother, Leola May Edens, on Sept. 30, 1991.

Survivors include his wife, Rita Lewis Edens of the home; two sons, Shawn Edens and Shane Edens, both of Huntsville; one daughter-in-law, Kaycee Edens of Huntsville; his father, Claud Edens of Huntsville; two sisters, Sherry Dillard of Fayetteville and Carol Watkins of Huntsville; four adoptive brothers, Tommy Berry of Lynn Haven, Fla., Fred Berry of Livingston, Texas, Lyndell Berry of Springdale and Richard Berry of Lowell; one adoptive sister, Louise Hendrix of Rogers; one granddaughter, Sierra Rose Edens of Huntsville.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Brashears Funeral Home of Huntsville with Larry Combs officiating. Burial will be in Alabam Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be P.J. Smith Jr., Dan Cobb, Rodney Rollins, Randall Shepherd, Derrell Mason and Turl Eden.

Honorary pallbearers will be Jerry Smith, Dale Rodgers, Leland Lewis, Jim Dillard, Loy Watkins, and Dennis Brown.

Memorials may be made to the Huntsville Church of Christ, Rt. 3, Box 274, Huntsville, 72740.
