CALICO ROCK — Elsie Mae Havner Moody, 90, of Calico Rock died Tuesday, May 29, 2012, in Iuka.

Born April 9, 1922, in Denver, she was the daughter of Adolph and Lucille King Havner. She was united in marriage to Paul R. Moody on Dec. 18, 1937. She was a homemaker and quilt maker. She was of the Church of Christ faith and was a member of Iuka Church of Christ.

Survivors include a son, Lewis Wayne Moody of Calico Rock; three daughters, Joyce Pitchford and Pauline Moore, both of Mountain Home, and Bonnie Chandler of Iuka; three brothers, Clarence Havner of Old Joe, A.D. Havner of Salem and Charlie Honeycutt of Chanute, Kan.; 14 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a daughter, June Thompson; a granddaughter, Jana Anderson; and a great-granddaughter, Bryce Ellen Moody.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Calico Rock Funeral Chapel with Noel Moore and Jeff Howard officiating. Burial will be in Moody Cemetery under the direction of Eddie's Family Funeral Home in Calico Rock.

Pallbearers will be Shannon Moody, Jay Thompson, Kenneth Mize, Tommy Havner, Richard Branscum and Kevin Wyatt.

Honorary pallbearers are Lloyd Chandler, Dean Duggins, Ray Slater, Jeff McLean and Richard Moore.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 tonight.

Memorials may be made to Moody Cemetery, c/o Margaret Mason, Jordan, AR 72519.
