DEVALLS BLUFF, Ark. - Louise Lawman Fricker, 85, widow of Roy Richard Fricker, passed away Tuesday, April 3, 2007, at Stuttgart Regional Medical Center.
She was born Sept. 15, 1921, in Prairie County, the daughter of Leonard and Hester Moss Lawman. She was a homemaker and a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Ulm.
She enjoyed painting wildlife art and loved making crafts. She also did extensive genealogy searches on her family as well as her husband's family.
Besides her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by one brother, Albert Lawman, and one sister, Clara Jackson.
Survivors are one son, Roy David Fricker and wife Virma of DeValls Bluff; one daughter, Linda Uhiren and husband Johnnie of Slovak; one brother, B.W. Lawman of DeValls Bluff; and two sisters, Nell Perkins of Carlisle and Marie Weems of Lonoke.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Turpin Funeral Home chapel. Burial will follow in Zion Lutheran Cemetery in Ulm by Turpin Funeral Home of Stuttgart. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Turpin Funeral Home.
