August 11, 1854 - August 25, 1928
Mr. Beals, a farmer, died at his home, 3 1/2 miles north of Van Buren, AR, at 2:00 a.m. Saturday Aug 25 1928. Fentress Mortuary of Van Buren was in charge of service. Survivors were: Wife, Mrs. Della Beals of Los Angeles Ca., three sons, L.C., Willie, and Charlie. Two sons from his first wife, America Hix/Hicks, James David and John Wm. Beals. He also had surviving children from his 2nd marriage to Eliza Thompson who were Martha B. Beals Yount, Sarah Dell Beals Butcher, and Maggie Delene Beals Franklin.
