Mr. Jerry Randall Pamplin, 67, of Monticello, died Saturday, June 1, 2013 at his residence. Mr. Pamplin was a native of Boydell; a resident of Monticello for the past 14 years and a former resident of Dermott for many years. He graduated from Portland High School in 1963. He was a farmer. He was a Dermott School Board member for a number of years; a board member of the NRCS and he served on the South Delta Farm Board for a while. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Monticello.
He is preceded in death by his first wife, Nina Swayze Pamplin in 1995; his parents, Carl & Daisy Nolan Pamplin; a sister, Pamela Kaye Pamplin and a step-son, Thomas Bostic.

He is survived by his wife, Nina Selby Pamplin of Monticello; a son, Steven Pamplin and wife, Barbara of Victoria, TX; a daughter, Susanne Oliver and fiancé, Jeff Rains, of Fordyce; two step-daughters, Richalle Ney of Rogers and Renee Clardy of Springdale; a brother, Ronny Pamplin of Boydell; a sister, Wanda Borgognoni of Hot Springs; a granddaughter, Katie Oliver of Fordyce; 6 step-grandchildren, 7 step-great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services are 2 p.m., Tuesday, June 4, 2013 at the First Baptist Church of Monticello with Rev. Bruce Venable and Jerry Selby officiating. Burial will be in the Dermott Cemetery. Pallbearers are Justin Pamplin, Zachary Pamplin, Skylar Gill, Andy Brannon, John Sledge, and Bruce Bond. Honorary pallbearers are Lee Pinkus, Dr. Robert Lawrence, Jimmy Williams and Rudy Wrzesinski. Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church of Monticello, 413 N. Main Street, Monticello, AR 71655 or to the Dermott Cemetery, c/o Mr. Carl Stevenson, 545 Black Pond Road, Dermott, AR 71638.

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Monday at the funeral home.
