Don E. Sanders, 71, of Ozark died Tuesday, April 12, 2005, in Ozark. He was born June 21, 1933, in Ozark. He was retired from Whirlpool, past chief and member of Watalula Fire Department, a member of United Pentecostal Church in Paris and a Navy veteran.
Funeral will be 10 a.m. today at Shaffer Funeral Home Chapel in Ozark with burial at Gar Creek Cemetery in Ozark.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara; a daughter, Teresa Dana of Ozark; two sons, Bobby Sanders of Charleston and Donald Sanders of Ozark; a sister, Twilla McPherson of Mulberry; 10 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Pallbearers will be Danny Hawkins, Ron Cowan, David Walker, Joe Thomas, Alvin Harrison and James Aguilar.
