January 25, 1959 - March 9, 2001
Calvin Lee Hamon, 42, of Van Buren died Friday, March 9, 2001, at a Little Rock hospital. He was a member of the Church of Christ, graduate of Oklahoma Baptist University, carpet layer and formerly of Norman and Shawnee, Okla.
Survivors include his wife, Maggie Redwine Hamon; two daughters, Amber Lynn and Brittany Nicolle Hamon, both Shawnee; one son, Calvin Lee Hamon Jr. of Shawnee; his mother, Bobbie Marie Decker of Van Buren; father, Jimmie Hamon of Wewoka, Okla.; one sister, Robin LaRue of Fort Smith; grandfather, Orville Hamon of Noble, Okla.; and two nieces, Jennifer Marie Hamon of Fort Smith and Brandy Nichole Stephens of Hackett.
Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Ocker Memorial Chapel in Van Buren. Burial will be at Sarah Grove Cemetery near Cedarville under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be LeRoy Stephens Jr., J.T.
