HINDSVILLE — Arnold Dean Fennell, 67, of Hindsville died June 30, 2008, at Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale. He was born Dec. 13, 1940, in Booneville to Walter Fennell and Sylvia Velina Ellis Fennell.
He was a Navy veteran of the Vietnam War and a member of Hickory Grove Freewill Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Lola Faye Parrish Fennell of the home; a son, Les Whelchel of Hindsville; two daughters, Glynis Whelchel Allen of Springdale and Nona Lynnette Fennell Spillars of Fayetteville; two brothers, Donald Eugene Fennell of Imperial Beach, Fla., and Doyle Fennell of Midwest City, Okla.; two sisters, Mary Ellen Glass of Indio, Calif., and Patsy Rose Fennell Drake of Arbor, Ore.; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Brashears Funeral Home in Huntsville with the Revs. Ernest Johnson and Kenneth Lynch officiating.
Burial will be in Burkshed Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Virgil Bohlen, Vernon Bohlen, Darren Whelchel, Darrell Reeser, Bryan Reeser and Calvin Reeser.
Memorials may be made to Circle of Life Hospice, 901 Jones Road, Springdale, 72762.
