Hershel Darren Butler, 40, of Sheridan, died Tuesday (Dec. 31, 2002).
Born Oct. 27, 1962, in Little Rock, he was a carpenter and a former member of the National Guard.
Survivors are his wife, Marian Hlavaty Butler of Sheridan; two sons, Patrick Butler and Spencer Butler, both of Quitman; two stepdaughters, Kimberly Sanders of Bay City, Texas, and Jennifer Noska of Sheridan; his parents, Hershel Muriel and Eleanor Butler of Sheridan; and two sisters, Patricia Alexander of Sheridan and Janet Shenep of Conway.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday at Harris Funeral Home Chapel of Morrilton with the Rev. Odell Lindsey officiating. Burial will be at McGhee Cemetery.
Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
