William Kermot Moore, age 72, of Adona, Arkansas, passed away Monday, August 25, 2008. He was born November 2, 1935, in Casa, Arkansas, a son of the late Elmer Moore. He was a farm laborer, former Mayor and Alderman of Adona.
Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Dorothy McClure Moore of Adona; mother, Lona Hubbard Moore of Adona; four sons, Larry Moore and wife Charlotte of Thornburg, Kenneth Moore of Vilonia; Keith Moore and wife Denise of Adona, and Roger Moore and wife Karen of Adona; one daughter, Susan DeVolld and husband James of Perryville; grandchildren, Michelle Moore, Michael Moore and wife Tami, Erik Moore, and Christopher and Casey DeVolld; step-grandson, Justin Cranmer; great-granddaughter, Mikeala Moore; step-great-granddaughter, Savana Banker; one sister, Alice Spires and husband John of Adona; one brother, Delbert Moore and wife Elzie of Cherry Hill. He was preceded in death by his father and granddaughter, Katarina Moore.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, August 29, 2008, at Welcome Home Missionary Baptist Church with Bro. Cleo Young and Bro. Mike Arndt officiating. Burial will be at McGhee Cemetery by Harris Funeral Home of Morrilton. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday, August 28, at the funeral home.
