Also known as "Hammy", Josiah was the son of Abram Harvey and Jane Patty Clark. He was a farmer in the beautiful Buffalo River Valley, between Boxley and Ponca, Newton Co., AR. He married Mary Lucinda Villines on March 11, 1888 and they had a large family, one daughter of whom was my grandmother, Myrtle Jane Clark Lane.
