Nancy Alice Shaver, 64, of Fountain Hill died Friday, March 5, 2004, at her home. Born June 14, 1939, in Hermitage to the late Joe and Sallie Durey Savage, she was a homemaker and a member of the Fountain Hill United Methodist Church.
Survivors are her husband, William Anderson Shaver, who she married January 20, 1962; two sons, Bobby "Skip" Maxwell of Fountain Hill and Randy Shaver of Crossett; two daughters, Gena Vail of Hamburg and Connie Pruitt of Monticello; four brothers, Lyance "Bo" Savage and Eddie Savage of Hamburg, Lawrence Savage of Mabelvale and Jerry Savage of Mayflower; three sisters, Chryl Slocum and Jackie Brooks of Fountain Hill and Elroy Kirkland of Woodville, TX; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services were at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, March 6, in the Fountain Hill United Methodist Church with Revs. Gary Jordan and Boyd Savage officiating. Linda Martin was pianist and Ben Colder, Terri Ashcraft and Linda Martin were soloists. Pallbearers were Bubba Edwards, Ronnie Shave, Ricky Savage, Carlton Savage, Rocky G. Savage and Jason Allison. Honorary pallbearers were Ralph, Billy, Jim and Frank Hudson. Burial followed services at the Outlaw Cemetery with arrangements by Frazer's Funeral Home of Warren
