RAY L. BEECHER SR.
Ray L. Beecher Sr., 79, 1114 S. 3rd St., Rogers, died April 11 in Rogers Memorial Hospital. Born Aug. 23, 1895, at Hill City, Kan., he was the son of John and Elizabeth Wallace Beecher, a member of Rogers Christian Church and a retired carpenter.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Julia Middleton Beecher of the home; one son, Ray L. Beecher Jr., Rogers; one daughter, Mrs. Harlan (Marilyn) Phillips, Bentonville; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Monday at 2 p.m. in Callison Chapel, Rogers, with Monte Shepherd officiating. Burial will be in Benton County Memorial Park under the direction of Callison.
Memorials my be made to Rogers Christian Church, 2404 W. Oak St., Rogers.
