Arlene Francis Ball, 51, of Melbourne died March 3, 1988 at St. Vincent Hospital, Little Rock. She spent her working years as a housewife and had resided in Izard County for 12 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Everett and Zelda McDevitt.
Survivors include her husband, Leo Ball of Melbourne, 1 son Leo Ball of Rockford, Illinois; 1 daughter, Pamela Nelson of Rockford, Illinois; 1 sister, Donna Kindall of Arlington, Texas and 4 grandchildren.
Services were held March 5th at Belview Baptist Church with Tim Porter officiating. Burial was at Page Cemetery near Melbourne.
Pallbearers were: Albert Smith, Tim Smith, Charles Cheatham, Jim Slegeman, Bob Rector and Ray Bookout.
