Eagle Democrat, Warren, Arkansas
August 22, 1940
Wilburn T. Braswell, 16 year old son of Mr and Mrs C.A. Braswell of Hermitage, died at his home Thursday morning, Aug 15, at 2:30. He was born in Bradley County May 27, 1924 and was a member of the Methodist Church. Besides his parents he is survived by a sister, Mrs. Mary Mann, and a brother, Raymond of Hermitage and a grandmother, Mrs. Will Hickman of Pattsville. Funeral services were conducted at Outlaw cemetery at 10 o'clock Friday morning by the Rev K.K. Carrithers. Burial was in the Outlaw Cemetery in charge of Frazer's Funeral Home. Pallbearers were J.D. Smith, Preston Smith, W.H. Baker, Alfred Osborne, Oscar Mann and Harvey Johnson.
