REESE, Lucy MORRIS Shew - Mrs. Lucy Reese, wife of John Reese, died yesterday noon at the home of her father, T.D. Morris, in the northeast part of town. She had been ill since the middle of the summer. Funeral services are being held at the residence this afternoon conducted by Rev. Dillon of the Christian church. The deceased was born February 2, 1850 in Lincoln county, Mo. and had lived in Rogers nearly thirty years. She was twice married and leaves four children - Bob Shew of Kansas; Otto Reese, who is in Colorado; Mrs. Bessie Whistler of Wichita and Howard Reese, who is at home. She was a good woman and her death is regretted by the many friends and neighbors.
