Charles Wayne Lyons, 37, of Crossett died Saturday, November 1, 2003, in Hamburg. A lifelong resident of Crossett, he was a carpenter.
Survivors include a daughter, Emily Pennington of Crossett; his mother and stepfather, Leone and Johnny Wilcox of Crossett; his father, Ray Lyons of Crossett; two brothers, Eddie Lyons and wife Debra of Tahlequah, OK, and Allan Lyons and wife Sheryl of Dierks; two stepbrothers, Don Allen Wilcox and wife Anita and James McFarland of Crossett; two half-brothers, David Lyons of Oklahoma City, OK, and Joey Lyons of Phoenix, AZ; one sister, Gayle and husband Mitchell Farrow of Muskogee, OK; two stepsisters, Wanda and husband Dewey Chism of Little Rock and Rita King of Crossett; two half-sisters, Tracy Griffin and Karen and husband Tom Crittenden of Fort Gibson, OK; and one grandson, Regan Pennington. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Arnold "A. C." and Mary Lyons and Alfred and Myrtle Bates.
Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Friday, November 7, in the Rolfe Chapel Freewill Baptist Church with Bro. Mark Mosher officiating. Pallbearers were Donald Carter, Jim Turner, James McFarland, Jody Quimby, Tim Kelley and Houston Pamplin. Honorary pallbearers were Eli Stanley and Walter Jackson. Burial followed services at the Rolfe Chapel Cemetery with arrangements by Cromwell Funeral Home of Hamburg.
