William "W. D." Herron, Jr., 80, of Hamburg died Thursday, December 20, 2007, at his residence. A lifelong resident of Hamburg, he was a retired pipefitter and plumber and a member of the Rolfe Chapel Freewill Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Inez Herron of Hamburg; three sons, Wayne and wife Sheila Herron of Crossett, Floyd and wife Sandy Herron of Hamburg and Steven and wife Tina Herron of Jefferson, TX; five daughters, Becky and husband Carlton White, Kaye and husband Philip Lum, Mary "Sukie" and husband Joey Warren, all of Crossett, Charlotte and husband David Clinton of Sheridan and Ruthie and husband Billie Bozeman of Hamburg; one brother, Marion "Shank" and wife Bea Herron of Montrose; three sisters, Marie Lynn of Portland, Gertie Haley of El Dorado and Eulene Breedlove of Bauxite; 22 grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, William Dillard and Rose Herron; and two brothers, Clarence and Charlie Herron.
