Bobbie Jean Denney, 73, of Crossett died Tuesday, December 31, 2002, at the Ashley County Medical Center. Born December 25, 1929, to Belton D. and Sarah K. Alderman Horn in Kosciusko MS, she was a member of the North Crossett First Baptist Church and a homemaker who loved to cook, visit with her family and shop with her husband. Survivors include her husband of 51 years, Lee Denney of Crossett; two daughters, Debbie Cossey of Crossett and Sandy Dean of Nashville, TN; four brothers, Leonard Horn, Pete D. Horn and Van Horn of Kosciusko, MS, and Jim Horn of Milton, FL; two sisters, Verla Inez Eiler of Kosciusko and Maudie Albin of Ethel, MS; five grandchildren, Becky Cossey Landry, Tanya Dean, Roxie Cossey Orr, Hannah Dean and Josh Cossey.Funeral services were at 11 a.m. on Friday, January 3, in the North Crossett First Baptist Church with Bro. Robin Allen and J. D. Stake officiating. Pallbearers were Josh and Ray Cossey, Damon Dean, Paul Landry, Brad Orr, David Albin and Stan White. Honorary pallbearers were Van, Leonard, Pete, and Jim Horn, Ed Clausen, Jay Turnage and Denon Cagle. Burial followed services at the Rolfe Chapel Cemetery, directed by Jones Funeral Home of Crossett.
