Brenda Sue Cross, 58 of Hamburg died Saturday December 29, 2007 at Ashley County Medical Center. She was born February 4, 1949 in Crossett, Arkansas to her parents, Charlie B. and Bessie Mae Pennington Stanley. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers; Lincoln and Wayne Stanley. Mrs. Cross was a member of Rolfe Chapel Baptist Church and the Eastern Star.
Survivors include her husband, Ed Cross of Hamburg; three sons, James and wife Rebecca, Steven and wife Angel; Michael and fiancé Paige Cross, all of Crossett; one daughter, Karen and husband Lee Williams of Crossett; five brothers, James, Kenneth, Herman, Roland, and Lowell Stanley, all of Crossett; five sisters, Joyce Wilcox, Helen Barrett, Dorothy Smith, Pauline Johnston, all of Crossett; Belle Pollan of Jacksonville, Arkansas; seven grandchildren; Johnathon Price, Rachel Lange, Tristen, Gage, and, Kristine Cross, Victoria and Taylor Williams.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00p.m., Tuesday January 1, 2008 at Rolfe Chapel Freewill Baptist Church with Bro. Carlton White, Bro. Kenneth Watt, and Bro Derrell Holland officiating. Interment will follow at Rolfe Chapel Cemetery under the direction of Jones Funeral Home of Crossett
