Glen Warren Cotton, 56, of Crossett died Wednesday, December 14, 2005, at Beverly Health Care of Crossett. He was a former resident of El Dorado and had lived in Crossett for the past seven years.
Survivors include his wife of 31 years, Carolyn Cotton; one son, Daniel Glen Cotton and wife Darcy of Pensacola, FL; one daughter, Vanessa Diane Purvis and husband Glenn of Crossett; five brothers, Billy Joe Baker and wife Patti, Lee McAdams and wife Lisa and Robert McAdams, all of El Dorado; Billy Joe Cotton and wife Sandra of Crossett and Johnny Wilder and wife Katy of Bastrop, LA; three sisters, Jean Fox and husband Greg and Glenda Shivo and husband Steve of Fort Worth, TX and Marie Johnson and husband Leland of Hamburg; and seven grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Bradford Cotton; and his mother, Mae Baker McAdams.
Funeral services were held Saturday, December 17, at 11 a.m. at Cloverdale Assembly of God with Revs. Carlton White, Justin Uselton and Mike Evans officiating. Burial was at Rolfe Chapel Cemetery under the direction of Cromwell Funeral Home of Hamburg. Pallbearers were Keith Farnham, Billy Joe Baker, Stevie Cotton, Lee McAdams, Robert McAdams and Billy Joe Cotton. Honorary pallbearers were Donnie Wheeler, Wilbert Jackson, Walter Jackson and William Jackson.
