ELLINGTON, Joe - {from Central} Died at his home Sunday afternoon May 15th, Joe Ellington. The funeral services were held at the Liberty church Monday afternoon and were conducted by Uncle Dotry Buttram. Interment was in the Liberty cemetery. Mrs. Ellington died a few years ago. He leaves nine children to mourn their loss. His death was quite unexpected as he had been in fairly good health. He was sick but a few days, pneumonia being the cause of his death. Mr. Ellington was a hard working man and is very kindly remembered by the older residents of this county who knew him when he was having trials with illness and death such as few are called upon to face. The family have the sympathy of our people in the bereavement.
