EVENING SHADE - Mirleene Jackson, 73, of Evening Shade died Wednesday, Oct. 22, 2003, in a Horseshoe Bend nursing home.
Born Oct. 4, 1930, in Monette, she was the daughter of Halsey and Ava Jackson. She was a cook and a homemaker. She was a member of the Myron Baptist Church.
Survivors include a son, Rickey Jackson of Evening Shade; a grandson, Nathan Jackson of Violet Hill; a granddaughter, Tanya Wood of Jacksonville, Fla.; two sisters, Bernice Hall of Benton Harbor, Mich., and Irene Jackson of Murry, Ky.; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, J.T. Jackson.
The graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Kissinger Cemetery near Myron with Leonard Smith officiating. Arrangements are by the House-Gregg Funeral Home of Walnut Ridge.
Pallbearers will be John Himschoot, Mike Richardson, Larry Beckman, Shannon Monk, Sid Shankle and Randy Shankle.
Visitation is from 12:30 to 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Myron Community Church.
