Springdale Man killed In Wreck

SPRINGDALE — Donnie R. White, 23, of Springdale was killed and two others seriously injured Saturday when their car ran off a twisting road 10 miles west of Modesto, Calif.

White was stationed aboard the repair ship Markab at the Alameda Naval Air Station in San Francisco Bay and was returning from leave.

Injured in the wreck were Max W. Bell, 21 of Batesville, and John A. Tucker, 23 of Cannon City, Colo.

Young White was born Oct. 28, 1941 in Fayetteville, the son of Virgle Albert and Hazel Boyles White.

Survivors in addition to hls parents are two sisters, Mrs. Louis Laningham and Mrs. Virgil Harmon both of Springdale; the paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. W. H. White of Fayetteville and the maternal grandmother, Mrs. Carrie Boyles of Johnson.

Arrangements will be announced by Callison - Sisco Funeral Home.
