Roy Glen Page of Melbourne, son of the late James Richard and Mary Lular Byram Page, was born August 14, 1914 in Newburg. He died on Tuesday, November 26, 2002 at White River Medical Center in Batesville. He was 88 years old.
During his working years Mr. Page was owner of a grocery store. He was a member of the Belview Baptist Church in Melbourne.
Survivors include three daughters, Jo Anne Caraway, Mary Page and Debbie Garner, all of Melbourne and two grandchildren, Joshua Garner and Matthew Garner, both of Melbourne. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Melba Ruth Wren Page; one daughter, Sandra Page; two brothers, Guy and Frank Page and one sister Elda Crawford.
Funeral services were held November 30, 2002 at Belview Baptist Church with Brother Tim Porter officiating. Pallbearers were Gerald Byram, Roy Bookout, Vernon Roddy, Billy Jones, Charles Cheatham and Leon Cooper. Honorary pallbearers were Delano Roddy, Winston Roddy, Tom Cone and Jeff Mitchell.
Interment was at Page Cemetery under the direction of Roller Crouch Funeral Home of Melbourne
