LUKE JOEL WILEY, a resident of Green Forest, Arkansas, was born November 5, 1990 in Eureka Springs, Arkansas, a son of Timothy E. and Billy Jo (Blacksmith) Wiley. He departed this life Monday, April 11, 2011 in Berryville, at the age of 20.
Luke attended the Berryville Christian Church. He worked at Tyson Foods in Green Forest. He was athletic and loved to play basketball with friends. He also loved to play video games and to be outdoors.
Luke is survived by his mother, Billy Jo Wiley of Green Forest, AR; three brothers, Timothy Ed Wiley of Berryville, AR, Gregory Glenn Wiley of Texarkana, AR and Newt Jacob Wiley of Berryville, AR; grandmother, Opal Thompson of Berryville, AR; two aunts, Valorie Webb and Brenda Clark both of Berryville, AR; one uncle, Kirk Wiley of Siloam Springs, AR; one niece, Emily Wiley; one nephew, Noah Wiley; and a host of other family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Timothy E. Wiley.
Visitation will be from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Sunday, April 17, 2011 at the Charles M. Nelson Memorial Chapel in Berryville. Graveside service will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, April 18, 2011 at Black Jack Cemetery with Brother Josh Shields officiating. Interment will follow the service in the Black Jack Cemetery under the direction of Nelson Funeral Service. Memorial donations may be made to Luke Wiley Memorial Fund, c/o Nelson Funeral Service, Inc., POB 311, Berryville, AR 72616. Online condolences may be sent to the family at nelsonfuneral.com.
