Rev E Bowen of near Blackfork, Scott County, died Sunday night, August 11, after a short Illness, at age of 65 years. The remains were buried at the Cemetery near Blackfork on Tuesday afternoon, August 13. He left, besides his widow, eight children, three of them being married daughters, and four married sons, most of whom lived near him; an unmarried son lives at the family home.
