GARVIN, Mandy SHARP - (from War Eagle) It is with sadness that we announce the death of Mrs. William Garvin which occurred last week at her home here in War Eagle. We extend our heartfelt sympathy to the bereaved family, especially to the motherless children. Mrs. Garvin was Miss Mandy Sharp before her marriage to William Garvin. To this union were born seven children, six of whom are yet living, Mrs. Dallas Ford of Lowell; Mrs. Pollock of near Rogers; Loyd Garvin of War Eagle and Ida, Mary and James who are at home. One daughter, Mrs. Della Williams, having preceded her mother about two years ago. Besides her family she leaves a husband, an aged mother, Mrs. Nimrod Sharp, two sisters, Miss Lou Sharp and Mrs. Mary Pemberton, two brothers, Greene and Will Sharp, and eight grandchildren to mourn her loss. Mrs. Garvin had a host of friends who grieve at her departure but who look on her life as one well spent in service and worthy of a reward. The Rev. Mr. Bean conducted the funeral services. Interment was in the Austin cemetery.
