Dolores "Dee" M (Moore) Shawver George daughter of Noah Moore and Florence (Cavanaugh) Moore. Dee was born in Tampa, Hillsborough County, Florida and died in Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas.

SIDNEY — Dolores “Dee” George, 62, of Sidney died Tuesday, Oct. 17, 2006, in a Horseshoe Bend nursing home.
Born Oct. 25, 1943, in Tampa, Fla., she was the daughter of Noah and Florence Cavanaugh Moore. She was a clerk at Consumer Value Stores Pharmacy in Cleveland for 33 years. She was united in marriage to Roy George on April 2, 2005. She was a member of Sidney Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband; three stepsons, Rick Shawver of Ohio, Denny George of Sidney and Michael Boydston of West Memphis; two stepdaughters, Leeann Northime and Judy Smith, both of Ohio; a brother, Paul Moore of Sissonville, W. Va.; three sisters, Dottie Rice of Oxford, Brenda Springer of Little Rock and Kandy Barry of Toledo, Ohio; six step-grandchildren, Ricky Shawver, Katie Shawver, Evan Shawver, Melissa Shawver and Ben Northime, all of Ohio, and Emma Boydston of West Memphis; and several nephews and nieces.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and a brother, Charles Moore.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church near Oxford with Alvin Wiles and Carl Higgs officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery under the direction of Eddie’s Family Funeral Home in Melbourne.
Pallbearers will be Jesse McDaniel, Tom Edie, Alex Rice, Jim Smith, Donald Phillips and Teddy Green.
Honorary pallbearers are Denny George, Chris Koen and Timmy Rice.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 tonight.
Memorials may be made to Baptist Children’s Home in Monticello.

SIDNEY, Ark. -- Dolores Shawver George (nee Moore), 62, of Sidney, Ark., formerly of Lorain, died Tuesday, Oct. 17, 2006, in Horseshoe Bend, Ark., following a brief illness.
She was born Oct. 25, 1943, and lived in Lorain for more than 20 years. She moved to Arkansas in 2004.
Mrs. George had been employed by CVS Pharmacy in Lorain, retiring after 33 years.
Survivors include her husband of 18 months, Roy George; stepsons Denny George and Michael Boydston of Arkansas and Richard Shawver Jr. of Lorain; sisters Dottie Rice and Brenda Sprenger of Arkansas and Kandy Berry of Oregon, Ohio; brother, Paul Moore of West Virginia; stepdaughters Lee Ann Northeim and Judy Smith of Amherst; six stepgrandchildren; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard ''Tiny'' Shawver, in 2001; her parents, Noah and Florence Moore; and brother, Charles.
Services and burial were Oct. 21 at Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church, Oxford, Ark. Visitation was Oct. 20 at Eddie's Family Funeral Home, Melbourne, Ark.
