James William Hellums, 16 of Kansas City, Missouri a junior at Parkhill High School, Kansas City, Mo., died Friaday. Hellums was a member of Glenwood Baptist Temple, Kansas City, Mo., Funeral was at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Glenwood Baptist Temple. Arrangements were by W.C. Newcomers Funeral Home Kansas City, Mo. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today at Pleasant Ridge near Oxford (Izard County). Burial will be by Howard Funeral Home, Melbourne. Survivors are his parents, Mr and Mrs. James Hellums of Kansas City, Mo.; his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Troy Hellums of Oxford, Mrs. Lillian Braaten of Othello, Wash., and Mrs. Lavern Sturm of Glenwood, Iowa and his great-grandparents, Ozzie Owens of Melbourne and Mrs. Ethel Braaten of South Dakota.
