The son of a Siloam Springs businessman was killed Tuesday night in a plane crash about 45 miles southwest of Fort Worth, Texas.

Casey Brinegar of Arlington, Texas, was in a Beechcraft Bonanza C33 when it crashed in a hay field near Tolar, Texas, at 9:30 p.m. Tuesday, said Lynn Lunsford, a spokesman for the Federal Aviation Administration. Tolar is about 50 miles southwest of Fort Worth.

Two men from India also were on board.

Brinegar is the son of Kerry Brinegar of Kerry's Paint & Body at 1019 E. Main St. in Siloam Springs.

The 1964 single-engine airplane was registered to Kerry Brinegar. It was assigned tail number N5827S.

Casey Brinegar was a night instructor and a private pilot, Lunsford said.
